Tier 2 Support Technician

About the position: 

When joining our team as a Tier 2 Support Technician, you will be expected to provide concierge quality support to our clients for a variety of technical issues. You will be fixing issues both remotely using powerful tools, and on-site at clients offices where you will provide valuable face-time with our customers. You will assist with projects which may rage in complexity from new computer rollouts to complete network rebuilds, server setups and internet connectivity troubleshooting. You will become part of a team of professionals charged with fixing everyday desktop issues to the most arcane “I-didn’t-know-it-could-break-that-way” computer problems. Mentoring and growth are ingrained in our culture, so you will have to rely on your own intuition and learn from other teammates’ experience to identity and implement solutions.

Experience:

  • Client Relations interaction
  • 3 years proven Windows Support experience
  • MCSA Windows 7 (or equivalent experience)
  • Solid networking knowledge
  • Solid MS Office support experience
  • Experience with Windows Server environments
  • Comfortable with remote access tools (VPN, RDP, etc.)
  • Comfortable with troubleshooting email and internet issues
  • Hardware Experience:
    • Building workstations
    • Upgrading servers
    • Consumer NAS devices

Additional Information:

  • On rare occasions, light travel may be expected to datacenter or client locations.
